Saying Goodbye to YouTube

I finally sat down long enough to get my video recorded!  On Thursday I'll be deleting all my videos but I wanted to say goodbye to all my subscribers one last time!  I love blogging, it's easier for me and hopefully some of my subscribers will follow me on here:)

  1. Awww, so sorry to hear that you are retiring from YT, but at least I can still keep up with you through blogland - so yay! When my OB/GYN prescribed me Met, I searched YT for Met and TTC, and that's when I came across your videos. I was so excited when I got to the one where you announced your pregnancy because it gave me so much hope. :)

  2. I've been silently following you on youtube and wanted to tell you how much I appreciate hearing your story. My husband and I are ttc for 10 months now and figure out why we don't have a baby yet. It sure is a frustrating roller coaster ride of emotions. Thanks for your insights. :)

  3. I tried to do YT videos, but as you say, its really difficult if your quite a private person! I have just started my own blog as well now. :-) Thanks for the videos though, they were very informative and helpful with learning about PCOS!! :-)

  4. @mommie-to-be, I'm really glad I was able to make a pregnancy announcement video and I still remember being in total disbelief while filming it:) YT is definitely a great source for real life stories versus reading things like webmd.com which don't seem to give a lot of hope but just list out the awful side effects:)

@hoki,it is a roller coaster of emotions, I hope you get an answer soon so you can get your BFP very soon too!

@Carmen, yep it was fun interacting with everyone on YT but I was never quite comfortable with sharing personal information on there that I wouldn't have even shared to most close friends IRL. I'll check out your blog now!

  5. Oh noooo did you remove the video already as have missed it :o((

I'm a little sad that you have left youtube but having said that I guess it is a new chapter in your (our) life so it is like saying farewell to the TTC part (if that make sense). I often think it would be unfair to my subscribers to post lots of updates of my daughter because most of them only subscribed cos they too are TTC.

I look forward to continuing to read your blog :o)

    xx

  6. Shel, that's a good point too about YouTube. It is kind of awkward to post how great or how hard at times life is with kids when I know many of the TTC ladies hadn't got their BFP's yet. I know most were excited when I finally did get pregnant but until they have their baby, I get how hard it is to listen to others talk about their post baby lives. I'm getting better at writing down important parts of my kids lives on paper, in their photo albums, printing out pictures because who knows in 20 years if they'll be able to look back at youtube or blogs:)
