I love resolutions and goals and I've been that way since I was in elementary school. I'm proud to say I've achieved many of my goals I've written down and many have a habit of showing up on the list year after year, but here goes!
1) Lose 60 lbs this year and become a Weight Watchers leader by tracking my food every day and working out 5 times a week.
2) Save 8 months in emergency savings. I have 4 already and a side note is that I do have a couple credit cards that I'd like to pay off instead but in this economy, I really believe Suze Orman's advice to get your emergency savings done first so that's the plan we are on.
3) Make $200,000 this year.
4) Get pregnant between 9/1-12/31/11.
5) Adopt Monkey!
6) Start a non-profit that provides birthday parties to economically disadvantaged elementary school age kids (I'll write more about this later, but it's been my dream to do for about 5 years now) and do at least 1 party by the end of the year.
I'm going to work on breaking these goals down into steps I need to achieve each month and focus on one month at a time since that's always been key to achieving my goals.
Do you have a resolution this year? If you do, please share, I'd love to hear about it!
I have been following you on YouTube, and I'm so excited to follow your blog too. I'm currently dealing with PCOS and a very irregular AF (it's been MIA for quite sometime now) When I first saw your video I was so intrigued. Of all videos I've seen on here about PCOS you are the most pleasant to watch, some (I'm sorry ladies but) are just not uplifting like yours and could be boring at times. I was glued on my computer watching all your videos from start until you announced you're pregnant, sometimes I even watch you on my iphone on the way home from work (not to worry I only do it when stuck in traffic lol) My husband and I are taking a short holiday break as far as focusing on getting pregnant but the baby dancing continues ofcourse. I found a new love in photography and thats been keeping me pretty busy. We will probably start again and see my RE to continue but not sure when exactly. I want to thank you for sharing your experiences to all of us, it truly gives us (me especially) hope that our time will come too.
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy and Prosperous New Year to you and your family.
Thank you so much for all your kind words! I truly hope you get your BFP when you start back again! I was thinking of taking a digital photography class since I dream of taking really awesome photos but so far, I just don't have the knack for it! Please keep me posted on your journey!
